Sponsorship

Club Hawthorn is proud to sponsor several sectors of the community, the club recognises its’ importance to the local community and attempt to make a difference not only with our own community asset by offering it to not for profit community groups free of charge but also within the wider community.

Although our main focus is on the sporting aspect of our club not all of our sponsored organisations are sporting based.  With contributions to groups such as Foundation Boroondara , the Salvation Army, 2 Lions Club, as well as a host of other service clubs we feel that the wider community can benefit from our sponsorships. Recent activates due to the clubs sponsorship include hosting a ceremony that inducted a guide dog into one of the Lions Clubs, the Kinder Plus program as well as the plant a tree and chances programmes. Members give freely of their time to participate in the doorknock appeal that is synonymous with the Salvation Army and also made a large contribution to the recent Bushfire appeal.  

Sporting clubs we sponsor include Old Scotch Soccer Club, The Deepdene Uniting Cricket Club, The Richmond Central Football Club, The hawthorn Cycling Club and the Hawthorn Hackers Golf Club. We enjoy a good relationship with all of these clubs now and will continue to look for other like minded clubs to sponsor in the future.
